Sarah and Dan say "I DO" at the Old Timers Cabin

The day started with a mimosa, laughter, and the tail end of a nasty seasonal bug. Leaning heavily on the excitement for the day, you would never know this bride was still sick. We met bright and early at the Roxx Salon for the hair and make up routine and shuffled off to finish getting ready at Sarah's house. Their little one, only a year old, also was sick and waiting for us to return. Time seemed to evaporate as we quickly put the last minute touches together, but we managed to get everyone out the door on time, little one and all!

The wedding was beautiful. Tastefully decorated by Tessa from Weddings with Tess, the ceremony was celebrated in front of the Old Timers Cabin fireplace. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Sarah and Dan said their vows!

After the ceremony, we just had fun! The group shots were easy and people were ready to have a good time. With the fall weather, we found the weather a little cold and sent the bridal party to Mercer to warm up the chairs while we finished with Dan and Sarah down at the dragon boat docks. We discovered the docks while paddle boarding down the river and couldn't wait to use this location. There is so much to offer around Edmonton and we were quite happy with the choice! We joined the crew at Mercer and prepared to kick our shoes off for the dance floor.

Catering was done by Elizabethan Catering and the meal was no regular wedding buffet. This company was very allergen aware. They were able to accommodate soy and gluten allergies and yet the food was incredible. We wrapped the meal with  an abundance of dessert options, also allergy sensitive.

The night melted away into a busy dance floor and great people. What a beautiful wedding; Tessa you did a great job! Congratulations to Sarah and Dan. We can't wait to grow old with you and your family.
