Scott and Jessie's Jasper Wedding

Small and intimate was important to Jessie and Scott. The perfect winter wedding really didn’t hinge on weather or restrictions easing. For Jessie and Scott, it really meant having their nearest and dearest closest to them. Oh, and good food.

With a mild winter day honouring them, we couldn’t help but take advantage of the beautiful scenery. Fortified by their resilience for colder weather, we made our way through the beautiful frozen river and forest landscapes to capture the love between Jessie and Scott.

The wind was persistent and unyielding and despite the sun’s best efforts to warm our day, Scott, and especially Jessie, were reminded that this was in fact, a winter wedding shoot! We returned to the warmth of the cabin to join family and friends for some well-deserved rest and refreshments.

The ceremony was set by a fire and comfortable group of warm and loving people. Beautiful and full of love. The decorations were carefully created by a loving aunt and delicately set throughout the cabin. An intimate setting with a beautiful ceremony.

We quickly realized that there was still time to check out another photo spot and agreed, why not! A little cold never hurt anyone! We drove to the lookout spot for our last photo session. The wind had picked up significantly and as the day waned, the temperature started to drop. Pulling closer for the hill-top photos, Jessie and Scott polished off our session with some beautiful, wind-kissed photos.

Thank you both for including us in such a special day. May this chapter in your lives together offer a lifetime of laughter, love, and endless happiness.
