It goes without saying, 2021 has offered much to be thankful for. Once the news is turned off and the noise of chaos turned down, it’s easier to see that there are still so many wonderful pieces to life. Lars joined the team in late July. His sweet and quiet demeanour mirrors his parents, but he definitely takes after me. Just like me, he loves walks, fires, and food. On games night, he is easily the most agreeable player (just like me). He isn’t that competitive yet, but he shares in my joy when I win. We make a great team. Even though there are new rules in life we must play by, I know he is excited for everything to settle down again so we can get comfy on the couch and watch some movies. He’s my new favourite guy.
